Study tour adalah merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diluar kelas yang bertujuan untuk mempelajari proses yang sebenarnya langsung dari lapangan.

Artinya tours diadakan karena kebutuhan siswa sekolah (sd,smp,sma) untuk mendapat manfaat pengalaman secara langsung. Itu karena tidak mungkin menghadirkan setiap peristiwa wisata wilayah (bandung, jogja, malang, bali) dibawa kedalam kelas untuk mempelajari dan diamati.
