Kelemahan Supercharger

Limited Efficiency at High RPM: Superchargers can become less efficient at high engine speeds (RPMs) compared to turbochargers. This is because they are directly driven by the engine and their efficiency is influenced by engine speed and load.
Fuel Consumption: Due to the parasitic power loss and increased heat generation, superchargers can lead to higher fuel consumption compared to naturally aspirated engines, especially when under boost.

Noise and Vibration: Some supercharger types, such as Roots and twin-screw designs, can produce noticeable noise and vibrations during operation. This may affect vehicle comfort and cabin noise levels, depending on the installation and vehicle design.
Environmental Impact: Increased fuel consumption and emissions can be a concern with superchargers, especially in applications where efficiency and emissions standards are critical.
